GARY M. KEENAN – President.
Gary received a Bachelors of Arts degree in 1975 and a J.D. Degree in 1981 form the University of New Mexico. He actively practiced
law from 1981 to 1988 and has 4 years primarily limited to Worker's
Compensation. A member of ABA, ATLA, DRI and the NM State Bar Association, he
joined the firm in 1989 as corporate counsel/adjuster with emphasis on Worker's
Compensation and general liability.
SALVADOR
ONGARO – Sal began working in claims in 1972 and currently
specializes in Workers' Compensation. Prior to joining our firm in 1985, he
worked as a Claims Supervisor for Argonaut Insurance company
for 4 years and as a Claims Examiner for Industrial Indemnity for 7 years. He
has completed numerous Workers' Compensation courses and is bilingual.
ERNIE
LINDIG – Ernie has been a multi-line adjuster since 1985 and
currently specializes in workers' compensation
and general liability. Prior to joining us in 1984, he accumulated over sixteen
years adjusting experience with General Accident Group including twelve years
as Claims Manager. Ernie has a Bachelors of Science degree in Business and has
completed training in Legal Principles at American Educations Institute.
JULIE
ANTONELLI – Julie has been a multi-line adjuster since 1985 with
experience in all lines of claims. She currently specializes in liability
claims, as well as personal injury, medical malpractice and sexual abuse
cases. Prior to joining our firm in 1992, she worked as Senior Claims
Specialist for Aetna Life and Casualty handling auto liability, property and workers'
compensation claims.
JEANETTE
ZUFELT – Adjusting claims since 1976, Jeanette is currently a
multi-line adjuster specializing in Workers' Compensation. With over 15 years
adjusting experience with CNA Insurance, Guaranty National Insurance and
Underwriters Adjusting Company, she has completed numerous company insurance
courses.
HEATHER
WHITE – Prior to joining our firm as a specialist in Workers'
compensation in 1991, Heather accumulated 7 years paralegal experience with an
emphasis on plaintiff and defense Workers' Compensation, along with personal
injury law. Heather is presently completing her Associates degree in Claims
studies.
MELISSA
CASADOS – Melissa began her career as a legal assistant with
Montgomery & Andrews in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Subsequently, she has worked
over nine years with Keenan & Associates in numerous administrative positions.
She has been responsible for check issuance, account balance and check
registers for numerous companies and selfinsureds
handled through the Keenan & Associates' trust account. Melissa began
handling medical only claims and then moved on to become a full time work comp
adjuster where she continues today.
JOHN
GUNLOGSON – A multi-line adjuster since 1959, with 37 years as
owner/manager of C & G Claims Service, Rochester, Minnesota. John is a
University of Minnesota graduate and specializes in long-haul truck, propane
fire and explosion, heavy casualty and personal lines property.
VIRGINIA
WEATHERILL – Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist. She joined
Keenan & Associates on December 1, 2000 bringing 30+
years experience handling workers' compensation in the State of New Mexico.
Prior to joining Keenan, she owned her own independent adjusting firm, Sunbelt
Adjusters, Inc. and has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Music
in Performance.
DAN
MARTIN – With over 30 years experience Dan currently
specializes in commercial property, time element, inland marine transportation
and heavy equipment losses. He accumulated nine years adjusting experience with
GAB before joining our firm in 1980. Certified by GAB as a General Adjuster,
Dan graduated University of New Mexico with a major in Finance and Accounting.
CARA
WEBB – Joined our firm
initially in 2000. She assumed the primary Benefits Administration duties of
the Fraternal Order of Police Legal Plan, Inc. in 2003. Her duties include
direct communications with officers and counsel, claims processing, and general
administrative functions.
BILL
MULLER – The former Officer
Manager of Allen’s Collision and Repair, Bill Muller joins us with over 20
years of experience in the paint and body work industry.
ANDREA
KUBLER – Workers’ Compensation
claims specialist. Andrea received an Associates of Arts in Liberal Arts in
2004 and is currently working on her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the
University of New Mexico. Andrea intends to go on to complete a Medical Degree
in Psychiatry at University of New Mexico Medical School. Andrea joined our
firm in January of 2002 and has been in the Insurance field for five years.
STEVE
VANETSKY – Steve began his
insurance career with CNA specializing in workers' compensation. He has
accumulated over 13 years adjusting experience and now specializes in long haul
trucking claims. Prior to joining Keenan & Associates, Steve was the claims
manager at AIG in their New Mexico Service Center. He is a graduate from the
University of California-Irvine with a bachelor's degree in Political Science.
BRIAN MURRAY

A property and casualty adjuster with over five
years of claims handling experience.
Prior to joining the Farmington office he was a Staff Adjuster with
American Modern Insurance Group. In addition
to holding a B.A. from
JIM HORROCKS — Jim has been a multi-line adjuster since 1981
handling Personal and Commercial Property, Auto Physical Damage and Liability,
and General Liability losses. Prior to joining our firm, Jim has worked with
GAB, AIAC, and Cunningham Lindsey handling claims out of the Gallup and Grants,
NM areas and the Navajo Indian Reservation. He has completed numerous company
courses.
TOM O'NEILL — A multi-line
adjuster and auto appraiser with 41 years of experience, Tom attended UNM and
received a Bachelor of Science from Eastern New Mexico University, and Graduate
Studies at ENMU and Texas Tech. Tom has completed various courses in most
aspects of claim handling. He has worked and managed a variety of storm losses
including earthquake, hurricane, hail and wind. for 25
years Tom was a Regional Manager in a multi-line office handling liability and
property litigation and mediation files. Tom has also taught liability claims
in company school for two years, and was Western Regional Property Manager for
Property Claims in 17 Western States.
